It has been nearly a week since I started this challenge that I was set by a good friend Steve Oram, the challenge to lose 3 stone before May.
Last Tuesday 7th October I started Foodwise for Life in my attempt to lose this weight, there will be times when I will struggle but I have plenty of support from family and friends and they will keep me on the straight and narrow, Narrow well that's how I want to look at the end of it.
I have cut out alcohol, I am now drinking lime and soda water.
Cut down on my bread and over fatty things and I am eating plenty of fruit and veg.
Last week I weighed in at 21 st 63/4 lbs and at 44, I think it is time to lose some and it will also be better for my health in the long run.
This week I am going to take a walk over the cricket ground over the Island and start to walk a lap, and then try and run a lap, need to take it easy to start.
